Seventeen venues form this year the calendar of the circuits created by Jan Tops, Longines Global Champions Tour and Global Champions League, and of which two are again organized by Oxer: Mexico and Madrid.
From March 22 to 25, Mexico City will be in charge of giving the starting signal to both circuits. For the third consecutive year, the competition returns to Campo Marte, and celebrates the 50th anniversary of the celebration of the Olympic Games of jumping and dressage in that same location. After Mexico, both circuits will pass through Miami Beach and Shanghai, and will arrive in the capital of Spain from May 4 to 6. The Campo Club Villa de Madrid facilities will host the more than 200 horses that will compete on the grass arena.
Both circuits will have important novelties this season. The first of these is that Ramatuelle / Saint Tropez joins the world circuit on the French Riviera, and that will see the riders gallop over the legendary Pampelonne beach with its turquoise waters and enviable blue sky.
Doha will once again host the final of the individual circuit. However, Prague will be responsible for deciding the winning team of the Global Champions League. In addition, the winners of the LGCT Grand Prix of the 2018 season will be invited to compete in the Super Grand Prix of Longines Global Champions; the last individual showdown for the best horses and riders in the world.
