Saturday's CSI1* closes with an outstanding performance by Spanish athletes

The morning day of the CSI1* ended with the Porsche Trophy, with a height of 1.40m and more than forty riders competing for the best time of the course.
The talent of the Spanish athletes came to the fore in this second test, with an outstanding role of the local riders Javier González Fraga, "Fino", and Roi Calviño.
The rider from Pontevedra, Javier González Fraga, got the first place with "Tik Tak de Pravia" stopping the stopwatch at 26.86 seconds after a great ride.
Roi Calviño, again recorded a great mark this morning being second, with "Enjoy", with a time of 27.58s. The rider from A Coruña, came from getting a second and third position in the CSI1* tests on Friday in Casas Novas.
The Spanish podium was closed by Pilar Lucrecia Cordón, Aragonese rider, after getting a time of 27.59s with "Noblesse du Palis". Just one hundredth of a second place behind Roi Calviño, who once again gave a remarkable performance after the second place obtained the day before in the Movistar Trophy.
After these first two races on Saturday, the high level horse riding continues in Casas Novas with the dispute of two races framed in the CSI4*, the Marqués de Riscal Trophy, with a height of 1.45m, and the Longines Trophy, the most anticipated event of this second day, which will take place from 17:30, with a height of 1.50m.
