Galician presence at the CSI Casas Novas in A Coruña

This Friday, December 6th, a new winter edition of the CSI Casas Novas will take place. A promising event, in which attendees will enjoy different classes of the CSI 5*W category, framed in the Jumping World Cup, and the CSI 1* category.

The CSI A Coruña is, without a doubt, a special event for the participating riders, thanks to the conditions of the Casas Novas Equestrian Center and the great atmosphere that surrounds this competition every year. But, if it is truly special for anyone, it is for the local riders who have the opportunity to measure themselves in the different tests in front of their audience.

In the CSI 5*W category, we find Diego Ramos, one of the pearls of the national equestrian world, four times champion of Spain. The young Galician rider trains under the orders of one of the greats of the world equestrian world, Jos Lansink, and comes from shining in his last intervention in Casas Novas getting second place in the Grand Prix CSI4 * summer.

Along with him, we will have the pleasure to enjoy in the CSI 5*W category of Jesús Baamonde, rider of the house, great connoisseur of the indoor track of Casas Novas and with extensive experience in this type of events. The rider from A Coruña has been riding there since the venue opened and is ready to do his best in front of his people.

In the CSI 1* category we also find important names of the Galician equestrian world. On the one hand, Javier González Fraga, Fino, will go to Casas Novas for another year, where he is already a regular, with the intention of being the fastest in the category. The rider from Abegondá, Roi Calviño, and the rider from Tui, Paula López Crespo, complete the Galician presence in this championship.
