Presentation of the CSN5* Valladolid, second venue of the 2024 RFHE National Show Jumping League

Today, the presentation of the CSN5* Valladolid took place, which kicks off this weekend at the Real Sociedad Hípica de Valladolid, serving as the second venue of the RFHE National Show Jumping League. The event was held at the Valladolid Tourism Office (Acera Recoletos s/nº).

The inclusion of Valladolid as a venue in the National Show Jumping League marks a significant milestone for the city, consolidating its position in this prominent equestrian circuit and emphasizing its commitment to equestrian sport, ensuring exceptional quality in event participation and significant media coverage at the national level.

Throughout this week, our facilities at the Real Sociedad Hípica de Valladolid will welcome 147 riders, accompanied by 250 horses, representing 8 Autonomous Communities: Madrid, Cantabria, Basque Country, Galicia, Asturias, Castilla y León, Valencia, and Navarra. Among them are prominent riders who occupied the top three positions in the Gold League Grand Prix held in Valencia last weekend: Iván Serrano, Álvaro González de Zárate, and Pello Elourdy. Additionally, competitors such as Kevin González de Zárate, Gerardo Menéndez, Rubén Gómez, and Javier González Fraga will join the competition, among others. We will also have the pleasure of welcoming distinguished female riders such as Carolina Villanueva, winner of the Valladolid Grand Prix in previous editions, Carmen García-Torres, and the talented local rider Inés Hernández Yanguas.

The competition will unfold over three days with five daily events, highlighting Friday's "Diputación Provincial de Valladolid Trophy", Saturday's Grand Prix "Junta de CyL Trophy", the Silver League Grand Prix "Securitas Direct Trophy" with a height of 1.40m, and the highlight of this weekend's competition, the Gold League Grand Prix: "Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Valladolid Grand Prix, Caja Rural de Zamora Trophy", which will take place on Sunday.

Furthermore, there will be two additional prizes sponsored by Caja Rural de Zamora for the best classified child and youth riders from the Grand Prix events.
