Álvaro González de Zarate secures another victory, this time in the Estrella Galicia Trophy, the main event of Saturday

The afternoon program of the second day of the CSN5* Valladolid consisted of two events:

The highest class was the Estrella Galicia Trophy, featuring obstacles at 1.45m, contested by 31 pairs, and was won by Álvaro González de Zarate, marking his second victory of the day. This time, he claimed victory with “Insigne S,” being the fastest pair to finish the second phase in 36.28 seconds.

The second and third places were taken by Rubén Gómez Crespo and Carmen García Torres.

It was the last event of the day, with 74 pairs participating.

Virginia Lezama, a rider from Biscay, was the undisputed winner. She emerged victorious with her mare, “Elinka De Riverland,” with a time of 35.26 seconds, beating the previous leading time set by Pello Elorduy with “Classique des Loups,” who ultimately finished in second place with a time of 35.87 seconds. The third place went to Amaia Ucelay and “Diamand du Breiche.”
