Diego Ramos Maneiro renews Podium Scholarship for fourth consecutive year

The rider from A Coruña, Diego Ramos Maneiro, has been distinguished, for the fourth consecutive year, with the prestigious Podium Scholarship awarded by the Telefónica Foundation. This scholarship, one of the most relevant for athletes in Spain, supports elite athletes in their preparation and professional development.

The Podium Scholarship program, created by Telefónica in collaboration with the Spanish Olympic Committee, recognizes more than 80 athletes from 32 different sports disciplines, providing them with visibility and resources to continue their training and growth. Ramos is the only show jumping rider to receive this valuable support, consolidating his position as one of the leaders in his discipline.

Since 2023, Ramos has been training under the supervision of the experienced Olympic rider Jos Lansink at his facilities in Belgium, with whom he has achieved important accomplishments in recent years, perfecting both his technique and his relationship with the horses in his stable.

Diego Ramos has been part of the senior national team in three editions of the Nations Cup, standing out especially in the EEF Series Final held in Warsaw. In 2024, he took second place in the Grand Prix of the CSI 4* at Casas Novas in A Coruña, a result that reinforces his position in the international circuit and his level of competitiveness. This new recognition with the Podium Scholarship reaffirms Diego's trajectory and commitment to his sporting career.
