TWO WEEKS FOR CSI 3* MAEZA

21 Jun 2024

A sporting and solidarity event for the whole family

There are only two weeks left until the fourth edition of the Sariego International Show Jumping Competition begins, which will be held on July 5, 6 and 7 at the Yeguada Finca Maeza facilities.

The event will not only offer a complete CSI 3* sports program with 9 tests and performances by world-class riders, on courses with heights of 1.25m to 1.50m and more than €140,000 in prizes, but will also have a leisure offer adapted to all audiences.

More than just a competition

In this fourth edition, the CSI Maeza welcomes the Commercial Market, a vibrant space full of stands with artisanal and local brands for all tastes. Attendees will be able to appreciate magnificent products and take home a special souvenir of the Cider Region and the exciting competition. Among the brands present will be Cuéntame los Lunares, So Cute Handmade, Más que Lana, Loché&BabyDi, El Desván Moda y Complementos, Tucarbón Joya, Pintura Artística Marín and Camelia Rios Joyas among others.

There will be an open-air cafeteria, where you can buy any snack and enjoy it at the picnic tables located in the most idyllic setting, with direct views of the competition track, as well as the artisanal ice cream shop, available once again at the CSI MAEZA to sweeten and refresh your summer day in Sariego.

During the competition weekend, two additional trophies will be awarded: the Mancomunidad de la Sidra Additional Trophy for the best Spanish rider, and the Sariego City Council Additional Trophy for the best Under-25 rider, which will be awarded after finishing the last test on Sunday.

Solidarity Tickets

The tickets for the CSI Maeza will be 100% solidarity-based, and all the money raised will go to various social causes linked to the Comarca de la Sidra. Among the beneficiaries are the Raitana Association and the dog and cat shelters Masquechuchos and ColungaGatuna. The Raitana Association is a non-profit organisation dedicated to developing support and care projects for people with disabilities in the Council of Villaviciosa, regardless of the type of disability and focused especially on those with greater support needs.

Don't miss the opportunity to spend a weekend full of competition and entertainment while supporting a good cause. Tickets, priced at €7, are available through the event's official website, www.csimaeza.com. Children under 12 can enter for free. Tickets will also be available at the box office at the main entrance of the venue during the days of the event.
