The winners of the Spanish Championship will compete in the Copa del Rey de Doma Vaquera at IFEMA MADRID HORSE WEEK

Yesterday in Jerez, the checks were presented to the top three finishers in the Spanish Absolute Dressage Championship, ensuring their participation in the prestigious Copa del Rey that will be held during IFEMA MADRID HORSE WEEK, from November 28 to 30, 2024. The checks include a free place for the winners, which covers the registration fee, the box for their horse and the parking. The three main protagonists who managed to get on the podium were: in first place, Amador Martín López with “Maserati”, Jonatán Peña Cordero with “Temple” in second place and Miguel Ángel García Campos with “Tardío” with a third place.

These outstanding riders, who already demonstrated their excellence in the Spanish Championship, will compete again in what promises to be a spectacular edition of the Copa del Rey, one of the most anticipated events within IFEMA MADRID HORSE WEEK.

This year, the Copa del Rey will feature 40 pairs (35 in order of registration and 5 invited by the Organising Committee), and will distribute more than €10,000 in prizes. Those pairs that do not make it to the final will receive a €120 prize in recognition of their participation.

In addition to the Copa del Rey, IFEMA MADRID HORSE WEEK will host other exciting events within the discipline of Doma Vaquera:

Young Horses: With categories for 4, 5 and 6 years, as well as an Intermediate event, 6 pairs will participate per category.
Minors: The events include categories for Alevines, Infantiles, Juveniles 0*, Juveniles 1* and Jovenes Jockeys, with 5 pairs per category.

Registration for all events is open until 17 November 2024 and must be made through the Royal Spanish Equestrian Federation (RFHE).

This event, within the framework of IFEMA MADRID HORSE WEEK, will be an essential event for lovers of Doma Vaquera, with the participation of the most recent champions and many promising riders in the discipline.
