Triumph for Spaniard Jesus Garmendia in the Mutua Madrileña Trophy

The rider from Guipuzcoa, Jesús Garmendia, won the 1.50m Mutua Madrileña Trophy, the main event of the day, offering a spectacular and exciting ride with his faithful partner Callias.Garmendia, who was the 40th of a total of 51 riders to take to the track, showed his skill and speed on a demanding course, achieving an impressive time of 57.11 seconds, which remained unbeaten for the remainder of the competition. The audience, captivated by the impeccable performance of the Spanish rider, experienced a real moment of euphoria to see how a fellow countryman took the first great victory of the weekend.In second place, and only one second behind the Spaniard, was the Belgian rider Gregory Wathelet with his horse Double Jeu d'Honvault, who also offered a fast and precise ride. The podium was completed by the Brazilian Marlon Modolo, who with his horse Zy-Zento was close to victory, achieving an impressive third place.The competition was marked by speed, and in fourth place, almost snatching the position from her husband, was the Swedish rider Angelica Augustsson.

British triumph in the Trofeo ¡HOLA!
The first race of the CSI5*-W, the ¡HOLA! Trophy, with obstacles at a height of 1.45m, was full of suspense. Maikel van der Vleuten, who took to the track with El Wikke, set an impressive time of 51.74 seconds, a record that seemed very difficult to beat. In addition, the performances of José Díaz Vecino with Chonick were outstanding, who placed 17th, as well as that of another of the youngest riders of the competition, Sira Martínez, who, like Otti, is also competing in this CSI5* for the first time. With Texas, Sira placed 18th.
