Pedro Veniss and Alvaro Gonzalez de Zarate, winners in Barcelona

Third stage of the RFHE National Jumping League, at the CSN5* of the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, ​​with Pedro Veniss and Álvaro González de Zárate winners of the Grand Prix.

The 1.40-metre Securitas Direct Grand Prix, which counts towards the Silver League, had 53 participants, of which 6 scored zero and qualified for the jump-off.

Three pairs repeated the zero in the barrage, the fastest being Pedro Veniss, with “CS Hortencia”. The Brazilian was the winner with 34’35, while Sergio Álvarez Moya was second with “Vegas de la Folie” (36’11) and Laura Roquet third riding “Cricket” (38’84).

Although he was eighth in this Securitas Direct Grand Prix, Pello Elorduy continues to lead the Silver League after the CSN5* Barcelona scoring event, with 102 points, followed by Rubén Gómez, with 98.

The Gold League Grand Prix, Janequí Trophy, over 1.50 metre obstacles, had four qualifiers for the jump-off, among which was not the leader of the league until Barcelona, ​​Iván Serrano.

In the barrage, there was a strong rivalry between two Basque riders: Rubén Gómez and Álvaro González de Zárate. The latter qualified two horses and in his second ride with “Casa Diva PS” he set the time that gave him the victory: 36’86. Rubén Gómez was second with “Allblack de Gressoux” (38’37) and Álvaro finished third with “Najac vh Kluizebos” (38’40).

The Catalan rider Laura Roquet was fourth with “Nina Puigroq”, with whom she also scored zero in the jump-off, in 39’17.

After these results, Álvaro González de Zárate is the new leader of the RFHE Gold League, with 113 points, followed by Iván Serrano with 110.
