Eduardo Álvarez Aznar stands out at the CSI 5-W in Verona and prepares for the final of the National Jumping League in Madrid

November 12, 2024 – Eduardo Álvarez Aznar has closed a good weekend at the CSI 5*-W in Verona, Italy. On the last day, the Marqués de Riscal rider and his horse “D’Orient Batilly” were second in the speed test.

Later, in the World Cup Grand Prix, the weekend’s main event with obstacles at 1.60 m, the Spanish rider performed well with “Legend”. Despite a knockdown on the previous course that prevented him from accessing the jump-off, his remarkable time of 65.78 seconds placed him in eighth position among the forty participants.

After his successful time in Lyon and Verona, Álvarez Aznar is now preparing to compete at home, in the final of the National Jumping League that will take place this weekend at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid (CCVM). He will be competing at this event, which promises to be one of the highlights of the national season, with the young horses from his stable: Genaro, Quevita, Giovani, Fleur, Harlequin and Haut.
