Christian Kukuk achieved a brilliant victory in the Banorte Trophy.

Christian Kukuk emerged as the winner of today's most important event at the Longines Global Champions Tour Mexico presented by GNP Mexico Jumping.

Christian Kukuk thrilled the crowd at Campo Marte with his lightning-fast faultless round in 37.23 seconds, beating Brazilian Yuri Mansur and "Miss Blue Mystic Rose" and American Laura Kraut with "Bisquetta."

The audience packed the facilities of Campo Marte during today's competition, where German rider Christian Kukuk became the undisputed protagonist by winning the Banorte Trophy, the most important event of the day. 32 of the best international riders took part in the event, which featured a course with 13 obstacles at a height of 1.55 meters. Of them, only 10 made it to the jump-off over 9 fences, and of those, only 5 achieved the double clear.

The Mercedes-Benz Trophy for England

Scott Brash won the Mercedes-Benz Trophy, an event of the CSI5* Longines Global Champions Tour Mexico presented by GNP Mexico Jumping, held earlier in the afternoon. The British rider emerged victorious with his faithful "Hello Mr. President" and received his trophy from Thalía Castro, Marketing Director of Mercedes-Benz Mexico and Latin America.

The two-time Longines Global Champions Tour circuit winner beat France's Nina Mallevaey on "Crack d’La Rousserie" and Portugal's Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida aboard "Dawsons Flex", who finished second and third, respectively.

Unstoppable Mexico in the Broxel Pay Trophy

The day began with the Broxel Pay Trophy, which gave victory to multiple Olympic rider Jaime Azcárraga with "The Gambler". The Mexican rider triumphed over 60 pairs in a tightly contested event, stealing the win from young Mexican rider Regina de la Cabada with "Borgia D´r" who had a clean round in 44.63 seconds. Next, another young Mexican rider received another warm ovation, Patricio Pasquel Poo, who at just 19 years old rode Cabablue to a clear round in a time of 45.91 seconds, earning him the third-place trophy.

The winners were awarded by Broxel Mexico President Gustavo Gutiérrez Galindo and Mexican Equestrian Federation President Juan Manuel Cossío.

"Oaxaca, Dance, and Tradition"

Before the start of the Banorte Trophy and as part of the activities to promote the knowledge and commercialization of Oaxacan productive sectors in the national and international market, the Government of the State of Oaxaca through the Ministry of Economic Development, showcased the diversity of the state through "Oaxaca, Dance, and Tradition", a cultural dance display that included a parade through Campo Militar Marte.

Tomorrow's program will begin with the Banorte Trophy at 8:00 a.m., followed by the Broxel Pay Trophy at 10:45 a.m. The most important event of the weekend, the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix presented by GNP Seguros, will start at 1:00 p.m., and the final event will be the CSI2* Palacio de Hierro Trophy Grand Prix at 4:00 p.m., which will also award the Hermès trophy to the best Mexican rider of the competition.

Additionally, tomorrow will be the last day for the public to enjoy over 70 exhibitors offering all kinds of equestrian products, fashion, decoration, and artisanal products...

In the food truck area, the best national and international cuisine will continue to be served, as well as wine from Marqués de Riscal's Wine Bar, or bars serving Moët & Chandon and Stella Artois.

Live music on the GNP Seguros stage will continue with Nana Mendoza at 12:15 p.m. and Olmont at 3:00 p.m.
