Everything is ready for the start of the Longines Global Champions Tour 113 CSI Madrid

17 May 2024

The veterinary inspection has been successfully passed by all the horses in the competition, and the facilities at Club de Campo Villa de Madrid will once again host one of the most important equestrian events in the world starting tomorrow.

In the afternoon, the "warm up" took place, where nearly 100 horses completed a short course to test the excellent green arena at CCVM.

The competition itself will begin tomorrow at 9:15 AM with the IFEMA MADRID HORSE WEEK Trophy. Following this, the MARCA Trophy will take place, and at 12:15 PM, the Exterior Plus Trophy, the last of the three CSI1* events.

In the afternoon, it will be the turn of the CSI5* with the two Marqués de Riscal Trophies that make up the Global Champions League, where we will see the 14 league teams in action. The Marqués de Riscal Trophy will be the highlight of this first day of competition in the Spanish capital, featuring jumps up to 1.60m.

It's not all about competition. For the little ones, the Commercial Village will feature the ¡HOLA! charity Pony Park, the children's activity area by Grupo Eulen, and the Porsche scalextric track. Additionally, there will be live music on the Mahou stage, various fashion and accessory brand exhibitors, and numerous food trucks to suit all tastes.

For fans who cannot make it to the Club de Campo, the CSI1* events can be followed for free in over 200 countries via ClipMyHorse.TV, and the CSI5* events on GCTV.
