Italy captures the hearts of the Mexican public at the Longines Global Champions Tour Gran Premio de México presented by GNP Seguros

A total of 40 riders secured their place to participate in this Grand Prix yesterday. As expected, the design of the Grand Prix course was very complicated. Nine riders managed to ride a faultless course, among which there was only one Mexican rider: Arturo Parada Vallejo.
The first rider to get the 0 in the exciting tiebreaker was the German rider Christian Ahlmann, finishing his ride with “Dourkhan Hero Z” in a time of 44.41 seconds, which was soon beaten by another German rider, Jörne Sprehe with “Sprehe Hot Easy”, who remained leader almost all the tiebreaker with a magnificent time of 43.31; but finally was in second place when the last rider, the Italian Emanuele Camilli with his inseparable “Chacco'Girlstar” arrived to the track. who beat the German rider's time with a very fast tiebreaker in 42.99, achieving his first victory in a 5* Grand Prix. In third place, there was the Belgian Jérôme Guery, who well tried to repeat his second victory in the Grand Prix of Mexico that he already obtained in 2019.
Camilli was very excited with the affection of the Mexican public and the great work done by his mare “Chacco'Girlstar”. The rider shared that this is the first victory he has had with his mare in a Grand Prix of this category.
Mexican wins the El Palacio de Hierro Trophy
Mexican Alberto Sanchez Cozar and his stallion “CBS Khantastic” were the undisputed winners of the El Palacio de Hierro Trophy. This test was the Grand Prix of the CSI 2* series with a height of 1.45 meters. Only 11 of the 52 pairs that participated were able to advance to the tiebreaker.
8 of the participants in the tiebreaker completed their rounds without faults. First place went to Alberto Sanchez Cozar and “CBS Khantastic”, with a time of 41.56 seconds. The other two places on the podium went to two Argentine riders, second place went to Jeronimo Gimenez Herrera and his horse “Pampero” and third place went to Rodrigo Seoane and his mare “Kiara Elite LS”.
