The Twenty-Fourth Edition of the Casas Novas Trophy Concludes with its Winners

This weekend the final phase of the XXIV Casas Novas Trophy was held with great success at the Arteixo equestrian center.

After the two qualifying competitions that made up the Casas Novas Trophy 2024 with official pony tests, in the A pony category María González Blanco managed to win the Trophy for the second consecutive year, followed by Lola Rama Sánchez and Rafael Pérez Ramos. In B ponies, María González Blanco once again took first place, overtaking Hugo Carro and Valeria Iglesias Cabral, who were ranked second and third respectively. Olivia Gómez took the victory in C Ponies, followed by Elena Avedaño Rodríguez, second place, and Saray Piñeiro Giraldo, third.

The Pinol Equestrian store, sponsor of the Trophy, presented the various prizes to the winners.

During the weekend, several open tests were also held, from 0.50m to 1.30m. The closing test of the weekend was also the highest at 1.30m, with the victory going to the rider Sofia Pardo and her mare “Hanoi”, followed by Diego Lage with “D Venus” who ranked second and Cornelio Carbajal third in the test with “Giselle LD”.

Once again, the Casas Novas Equestrian Centre has opened the doors of its magnificent facilities to Galician riders and is grateful for the great reception of the initiative by all participants.
