This year there are three new cities added in an exciting season
The prestigious competition founded by Jan Tops, Longines Global Champions Tour, has officially announced the schedule for this 2019.
Less than a month to start in Doha, on 28th February , as a novelty for this year, it will include three new cities in its circuit. New York, Montreal and Stockholm will join the classic 17 venues to reach, this year, a record of 20 cities.
More glamour, more expectation in this fantastic competition that will distribute a total of € 40,000,000 in its 20 events and that the last season won the British Ben Maher, 36 years old and winner of the Olympic Games by teams in London 2012.
Mexico will be the second event on the calendar, at the Military Campo Marte Mars and its impressive grass arena. On 11, 12 and 12th April, the best environment in the city will meet to enjoy the first class of international equestrian.
In Madrid, the Longines Global Champions Tour will be held for the sixth consecutive year during the next 17, 18 and 19th May at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid. An international competition, in fantastic facilities and with the best riders and horses of the world.
The program will finish in Prague from 21 to 24th November, in its spectacular O2 Arena, with the Playoffs of the Global Champions. It will be the only indoor event on the calendar and it will celebrate the Super Cup of the Global Champions League that, last year, won after an exciting final Madrid in Motion team, and the Super Grand Prix, in which all the winners of the Big Classe, led in 2018 by Edwina Tops Alexander.
